The idea for Otter Homecare was born when I became the primary caregiver for my father after he suffered a severe stroke. Drawing on the compassionate, home-centred approach I witnessed in Thailand, I realised there was a better way to support people here—one that prioritises kindness, trust, and personalised care.
Why I Started Otter Homecare
A Local Team with a Personal Touch
Based in Trowbridge and covering Wiltshire and Somerset, Otter Homecare was founded to bring warmth and trust back to care. We don’t believe in rushing. We take time to build real relationships and provide care that fits around people’s lives — not the other way around.
We support people in living well at home, with services ranging from a few hours a week to 24/7 live-in care.
