Live-in care means a dedicated Care Professional lives in your home and is on hand through the day and night, so you or your loved one can stay in familiar surroundings with professional help always close by.
They sleep in your home overnight and take a daily break that we arrange cover for. If someone needs hands-on help several times a night, we add waking-night support — we'll be clear about that, and about the cost, at the assessment.

Cost & funding. Live-in care starts from £1,550 a week, plus a £50 weekly food allowance for your Care Professional. The weekly fee covers one Care Professional living in — on hand through the day and sleeping in overnight; regular waking-night help is priced separately. How live-in care works
With live-in care, a dedicated Care Professional moves into the home and is there day and night — so there's always a familiar, capable person on hand. You provide a spare room, a £50 weekly food allowance covers their meals, and we take care of everything else.
Most people have one or two regular Care Professionals who learn their routines, their likes and dislikes, and the way they want things done. We arrange cover for daily breaks, holidays and sickness from the same small team, so the support never stops and the faces stay familiar.
Live-in care or a care home?
For many families, live-in care is the alternative to moving into a residential or nursing home. Instead of fitting around a care home's routines and shared staff, your loved one stays in their own home with one-to-one support shaped entirely around them.
